Welcome to TripBass. By creating an account or using the TripBass platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About TripBass

TripBass is an online platform that enables people to discover, host, and join community-organized trips. TripBass facilitates introductions between users but does not organize, supervise, or operate trips unless explicitly stated.

2. Eligibility

To use TripBass you must:

  • Meet the minimum legal age required in your jurisdiction.
  • Provide accurate information.
  • Maintain only one personal account unless otherwise permitted.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials secure.
  • Maintaining accurate profile information.
  • All activity performed through your account.

4. Hosting Trips

Hosts are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate trip information.
  • Clearly communicating schedules and expectations.
  • Respecting participants.
  • Following applicable laws and regulations.
  • Updating trip details when changes occur.

5. Joining Trips

Travelers are responsible for:

  • Reviewing trip information before joining.
  • Making their own travel decisions.
  • Following host instructions where appropriate.
  • Bringing necessary travel documents and equipment.

6. Reviews

Reviews should be:

  • Honest
  • Respectful
  • Based on actual experiences

TripBass reserves the right to remove reviews that violate our Community Guidelines.

7. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

  • Impersonate another person.
  • Create fake accounts.
  • Publish fraudulent trips.
  • Harass or threaten others.
  • Share illegal or harmful content.
  • Attempt to compromise platform security.
  • Use TripBass for unlawful purposes.

8. Account Suspension

TripBass may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, applicable laws, or our Community Guidelines.

9. Intellectual Property

TripBass and its branding, logos, software, and content remain the property of TripBass or its licensors. Users retain ownership of content they create but grant TripBass a limited license to display and operate the platform.

10. Disclaimer

TripBass is a technology platform that connects travelers.

TripBass does not guarantee the safety, quality, legality, accuracy, or outcome of user-created trips. Users participate in trips at their own discretion and are responsible for evaluating the suitability of trips and other participants.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TripBass shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform or participation in user-organized trips.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Personal Belongings

Each user is solely responsible for their personal belongings during any trip.

TripBass is not responsible for the loss, theft, damage, or misplacement of personal belongings, luggage, equipment, valuables, travel documents, electronic devices, or any other items during or in connection with a trip arranged through the platform.

Users are encouraged to keep their valuables secure at all times and consider appropriate travel insurance where applicable.

14. Payments and Financial Transactions

TripBass acts solely as a technology platform that connects Crew Members and Trip Hosts.

Unless TripBass explicitly provides an integrated payment service, TripBass is not a party to any financial transaction conducted between:

  • A Host and a Crew Member
  • Two or more Crew Members
  • Hosts collaborating with other Hosts
  • Any other users of the platform

TripBass is not responsible for:

  • Collection or distribution of trip costs
  • Cash payments
  • UPI, bank transfers, credit/debit card transfers, or any other payment methods exchanged privately
  • Refund disputes
  • Partial payments
  • Outstanding balances
  • Financial losses arising from transactions between users

Users are solely responsible for verifying payment details and resolving any payment-related disputes directly with the other party.

15. Third-Party Agreements

Any agreement, arrangement, promise, commitment, or contract made between users outside or through the TripBass platform is solely between the participating users.

TripBass does not guarantee, enforce, monitor, or assume responsibility for such agreements.

16. Travel Risks

Participation in trips involves inherent risks, including but not limited to travel delays, accidents, weather conditions, illness, injuries, property damage, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Each participant voluntarily accepts these risks and is responsible for exercising appropriate judgment before joining or hosting a trip.

TripBass does not guarantee the safety, quality, legality, or outcome of any user-organized trip.

17. User Responsibility

Every Crew Member and Host is responsible for:

  • Conducting their own due diligence before joining or hosting a trip.
  • Verifying the identity and suitability of other participants where appropriate.
  • Safeguarding their own belongings.
  • Managing any financial arrangements made with other users.
  • Complying with all applicable laws and local regulations.

By using TripBass, users acknowledge that they participate in trips and interact with other users at their own discretion and risk.
